The Ancient Britons - In the beginning

The band of Ancient Britons was formed in late 2007 in the Andalucian village of Villanueva del Trabuco, which is just off the Malaga – Granada road and close to the town of Antequera in the North East corner of Malaga province.

From when the band started, like many bands, it has seen a few changes, but during the last year the early members have remained together. Since then the band has gone from strength to strength and recorded it's first cover CD in April 2009 at Lime Kiln Recording Studio, Villanueva de Tapia, Spain.

Now the band is playing at a selection of paid venues including weddings, parties, hotels, restaurants and many others in and around Andalucia.

The Ancient Britons play and sing a variety of numbers, including Johnny Cash, CCR, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Lead belly, T Bone Walker, Beatles, Stones and everything in between.

The band rehearses regularly and is always taking on new numbers.
